Heather is married to Phil, they have 4 adult children. She is a people person and loves seeing people grow in faith and confidence into being more fully the person that God created them to be. To relax Heather enjoys outdoor activities like walking, running and cycling.
Heather's days off are Wednesday and Friday. |

Ian Fishwick
Ian is married to Jan and has 3 adult boys and 5 grandchildren. He has recently semi-retired following a career in teaching, parish ministry and organisational consultancy within the Health Service. He supports Liverpool FC and Wasps RU and enjoys walking, singing and more recently tending an allotment. They joined St James relatively recently and value the friendships and growing sense of community.

Melvyn Bleakley
Melvyn is married to Elizabeth, and they have three adult sons, who live in Woodley,
Billericay and Dubai, three grandsons and one grand-daughter. After parish work in
Newcastle-Under-Lyme and High Wycombe Melvyn trained as a teacher and has taught in
Stoke Poges, Great Missenden, Bell Lane in Amersham and finally in Ash Hill School in
Micklefield. When he retired from teaching he was connected for several years with the
parish of Chalfont St. Giles. After helping with several interregnums he ended up at
Downley! He is very much enjoying the developing fellowship and friendship of the people
of St. James. |

Rowena is married to Simon; they have 2 daughters.
She was licensed in 2020 (on Zoom!) and she loves helping people to grow in their walk with God.
Particular areas of involvement at St James are music and environmental issues; she also enjoys running and photography |

Jenny began to explore ministry after her husband died in 2006 and was licensed in 2012.
She discovered her rapport with children whilst working with missionaries in Peru and is involved with children's ministry. She loves to see young people growing in faith and understanding. She enjoys painting, mainly seascapes and landscapes and lives with a lovely tortoiseshell and white cat named Lily |

Paul is married to Venetia, they have 4 adult daughters. They both love the outdoors. Paul is a chartered accountant and works with a number of charities

Paul is married to Hilary, they have 2 adult children. He is passionate about caring for others and volunteers at Wycombe Homeless connection and F Bombs, a club for adults with learning disabilities. Paul is also a workplace chaplain at John Lewis.

Hilary is married to Paul, and they have 2 adult children.. She is a keen sportswomen and regularly plays and competes in short tennis and badminton. |

Helen married her husband, Bruce, at St James in 2012. Between them they have five adult off-spring and four grandchildren. Helen is relatively recently retired and enjoys supporting St James in practical ways such as flower arranging, helping to organise social events and pastoral care duties.

Paul is married to Lynne, they have two adult children and four grandchildren. He has a part time job with Wycombe Almshouses and is a Trustee of other housing and homelessness charities. He is also an elected Buckinghamshire Councillor.
